At a very young age, I discovered a passion for drawing and painting that I developed through visits to museums, art books and a lot of exchanges and collaborations with artist friends.
I paint regularly, I am fascinated by color and movement, music and the Arts in general, I try to acquire my own style -without wanting to have one specifically- to create contemporary paintings that can testify to emotions felt, light absorbed and perhaps tell the beginning of a story.
For me, painting testifies to the immediacy and fragility of our emotions, vulnerable and too often abused by the chaotic nature of life, to be able to open our eyes to reveal what we did not know about ourselves.
To show is not always obscene when to show is to offer mystery, to penetrate a universe, to invite the glance to return to tell a thousand stories or only one story, to better lose itself in the power of the forms or the depth of the blacks, the overwhelming generosity of infinite greys, the shattering brilliance of yellows or the velvet of orange.
The visible is the set of all the recitatives that make up the appearance, they are fragments, entanglements, infinite pools of pigments, echoing powers of bursts, ricochets of colors.
Each canvas inhabits the universe of appearances in its own way, that is to say that it hides there. The visible conceals the hidden.
To live indeed, is for each one of us to be able to cross the visible while hiding there.
